Sycamore Class have had such a fun start to the year learning all about ourselves, our families and our friends in our topic ‘You and Me’. We found out lots of different things about our bodies and discovered things that we can do now that we couldn’t do when we were a baby. We love learning through play and this month we even learned some sight words while playing twister! In Play Based Learning, “Baby Emily” came to stay in our home corner and we enjoyed making ‘New Baby’ cards. Some of our favourite play activities were- playing in the opticians, bathing babies, making baby food in the sand, painting babies, making faces using lots of different items, exploring our fingerprints and practising our keywords in baby powder!
