As we are all aware our SPHE priority for November is the delivery of the RSE curriculum.
RSE in the school aims to support the work of parents, who are the primary educators of their children in this area. Every year in Powerstown ETNS, the month of November is RSE month. This means that every class in the school will cover the RSE curriculum during the month of November

Messages have been sent home to parents via Aladdin to inform them of what the RSE curriculum is and our legal obligation to teach it. To view this message  – click here.

We also have a RSE page on our school website here

Please note that:

  • All teachers are familiar with the school’s RSE policy which has been shared with parents and is accessible here.
  • Before we teach RSE content, we send home (via blog/aladdin) the home school link sheet before you teach the topic.
