Special Ballet Class for children with dyspraxia between the age of 7 and 10 years.
This class is being offered by the Clare Connolly Dance and BalletSchool in conjunction with an Occupational therapist as part of a PhD Research study to explore the benefits of ballet for children with Developmental Coordination Disorder / Dyspraxia.
The class will take place in Phibblestown Community centre, Dublin 15, on Wednesdays from 4.00 to 5.00 pm and will run from Wednesday 25th February to June 2015, over two 8 week terms.
The cost of the class will be €70 per term.
What will it involve:
Your child will attend a ballet class taught by Clare Connolly a qualified Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Teacher with over ten years’ experience. The class will be based on a modified RAD curriculum.
The research element of these classes will be carried out by Mairead Dempsey an experienced Occupational Therapist in the area of DCD and Dyspraxia.
