Dear Parents/Guardians,

The 2021/2022 school year’s PTA committee had its last meeting this week to prepare for the handover to the new 2022/2023 committee.

The Annual General Meeting will take place on Wednesday the 19th of October 2022. Please vote for your preferred time if you have not done so already.

If you are interested in joining the PTA committee this is the time to do it and here is some information to help you make your decision.

All parents/guardians are part of the PTA and the committee is their representative body.
All committee members are required to be active – participate in monthly hybrid meetings (join in person or via zoom) and communicate with other committee members in the specific WhatsApp group.
PTA committee has a few positions – Chairperson, Secretary, Fundraising officer, Communication officer and WhatsApp group admin/class representative and you will be able to read detailed description about these positions next week when the PTA Constitution will be shared. You don’t have to take up a position to be part of the committee.
The PTA committee is dealing with organization of PTA events (annual PTA calendar will be shared next week along with the Constitution) and providing ideas and parent feedback to the school.

Being part of the committee is a great way to help the school and get to know other parents.
The school will send out official invitation next week with a form to complete if interested in joining. For any questions please feel free to contact your class representative.
