Friday 19th October 2018 is DLD Day (Developmental Language Disorder Day). DLD is the most recent name for speech and language difficulties, formally known as  SSLD/SLI/SSLI.

Our Speech and Language therpaist Neasa is hosting an information session in her room (Yew Room) from 8.30-9am  tomorrow morning. The room is open for parents. Neasa will have information leaflets; videos; posters made by Birch Class children about what is tricky for them (e.g. understanding what people are saying) and what helps them (e.g. using pictures/speaking slowly, etc). You can also use this time to ask Neasa any questions you may have.

It would be great if you could make an effort to pop in for a look at the amazing work the Birch class do and support the work of our Speech and Language Therapist.
