This month, as part of our You Can Do It programme, the children will be learning about being resilient. Today at our whole-school assembly we talked about what it means to be resilient. The boys and girls explained that being resilient means being brave when you are feeling sad, anxious or angry, and thinking of ways to feel calm and happy again.
In our School Family groups, the children spoke about things that make them feel happy – spending time with family, playing with friends, reading their favourite book, playing video games, playing outside or eating their favourite food! They drew pictures and wrote words to describe their ideas.
We had a great time practicing being happy together!
