Dear PETNS School Community
We are currently reviewing our Enrolment Policy due to DES Admissions Bill 2018 and due to children now being able to avail of 2 years ECCE (pre-school).
We recommend that all children avail of at least one year of free ECCE scheme prior to starting school to support their social and emotional well-being and school readiness – however this in NOT a criteria for enrolment
We kindly request your feedback on AGE CRITERIA for enrolment
We also want to bring to your attention
1. November is enrolment month for Junior Infants
2. Interest in Enrolment Form is NOT a pre-enrolment
3. Sibling policy
3. Selection of pupils if more children enrol than places available
