We have an action packed Engineer’s Week planned for out students this year!
Hawthorn, Juniot Infants, Senior Infants and 1st class pupils are all going to imaginosity during engineer’s week! They will complete some fantastic science experiments and then get the opportunity to explore Imaginosity. Check out your child’s class blog for photos!
2nd, 3rd and Birch class pupils will have an engineer and group of third level students in from the Institute of Technology Blanchardstown (ITB) to help build some engineering kits on Thursday from 11am-12noon.
4th, 5th and 6th are having Aidan Knowles, an engineer with IBM and SMART Steps in to give a presentation on the 7th. He will be in from 9-10:30pm
Science fair packs have been emailed to parents and sent home. Children need to let the teacher know if they are bringing in a project (made at home) so they can put it on display Thursday in the hall for our Science Fair.
