This Friday, October 14th is Developmental Language Disorder Awareness Day.
The Birch Class have once again been very busy preparing for DLD Awareness Day by learning about strategies that can help children who have difficulties understanding and/or using language.
To celebrate DLD Awareness Day, the Birch Class students have some ideas in which the school can get involved and help to raise awareness.
We are asking all staff and children wear purple/yellow or both this Friday!
There will be 42 landmarks lighting up this year to support the International Raising Awareness of DLD campaign. Keep an eye on social media to see them lit up!
