A chairde! Parents, Guardians and friends!
Next week we will be celebrating Irish language and culture as part of Seachtain na Gaeilge. We will be busy learning Irish songs (amhráin) and dances (damhsaí), playing games (cluichí) through Irish, reading and writing stories as Gaeilge, listening to Irish music (ceol gaelach) and promoting the Irish language throughout the school.
We would like to invite you to join in the fun this Friday 13th March.
Breakfast
- Join us between 8:30 and 9am for an Irish breakfast in the school hall. Some of our students will be serving Irish tea, scones, brown bread and other baked goods for parents to enjoy! They will be helping parents to learn some Irish phrases so that you can have chat ‘as Gaeilge’ while you sip your tea!
Show
- Classes will be performing some Irish songs, poems and dances for parents in the hall between 9 and 10am
Please come and celebrate with us! Bígí ann!

Scones

A chairde, tuismitheoirí agus cosantóirí,
An tseachtain seo chugainn beidh muid ag céiliúradh ár gcultúr agus teanga le Seachtain na Gaeilge 2020. Beidh muid gnóthach ag foghlaim amhráin, damhsaí, ag imirt cluichí, ag léamh agus ag scríobh scéalta tríd meain na Gaeilge, ag éisteacht le ceol gaelach agus ag déanamh iarracht mór chun an Ghaeilge a úsáid an tam ar fád ar scoil.
Ba mhaith linn cuireadh a thabhairt daoibh chun teacht isteach agus tóg páirt sa chraic ar an Aoine 13ú Márta.
