Author Visit next Thursday

Famous Irish Author Brian Gallagher will be visiting the Redwood class next Thursday, 19th of November. 

This commemoration project will begin with an epic tour of Dublin 15, by local Historical fiction author Brian Gallagher. In Brian latest novel, Friend or Foe,(http://www.obrien.ie/brian-gallagher) the period of autumn 1915 to Easter 1916 is explored in a fast-moving tale that is both thrilling and thought provoking. Brian will talk with pupils about what it’s like to be an writer, how to write and research a story and read some excerpts from his book that captures the atmosphere of revolutionary Dublin and the misery and chaos of war.
