We are almost back to a new school year at PETNS. This a very exciting time for parents and staff. As a developing school, our pupils intake increases every year and therefore so does our staffing. We are delighted to welcome our new teachers and assistants to the school.

This year we are very sorry to lose our Deputy Principal, Katie Flynn. Katie has relocated down to her home town in Co. Clare. Katie joined the Powerstown ETNS staff in July 2011 and has been an invaluable member of staff over the last four years. Katie has taught many of our pupils, worked closely with our parents and PTA over the last number of years. I sure you all join me in wishing Katie the best of luck in her future career and her move back home to Co. Clare. Cróna Glynn is our new Deputy Principal and is looking forward to her new role in Senior Management within the school.
This summer our 2nd class teacher Louise O’Kelly relocated back to her home town in Co. Limerick. We wish Louise all the best in her future career, and welcome Stephen Flanagan as the new 2nd class teacher.
