Luttrellstown Community Centre are running a Child Development Course on Thursday Mornings from 11:30 to 1:30pm for 8 weeks. The Course will start this week – Thursday 6th October. It is specifically geared to parents/carers of Children up to 6 years of age. It might also interest parents who may be interested in choosing Child Care as a Career
The course will be delivered by a Child Care Tutor from Riversdale Adult Education Centre who’s programme ranges from level 3 to Full Level 5 QQI professional Awards.

Child Development Children through the Medium of Play for parent/Carers of Children Aged up to and including 6 years
Topics Covered
- Exploring the different areas of child development
- Understanding how play helps with the development of the child
- Exploring toys, games, play ideas and activities used by children and
- Demonstrating good communication skills with children.
