On Wednesday, in 5th class, we visited Leinster House. We took the bus and the Luas into Dublin city centre. When we arrived, we were given a tour of Leinster House. We had the opportunity to watch members on the Dáil from the viewing gallery in the chamber. Next we were shown the portrait room, where paintings of some of the previous Taoisigh. We even got to sit in on a meeting of members of the Seanad.

Then we met Jack Chambers, the Government Chief Whip and TD. He told us that the final part of our tour was a visit to the Dáil bar for some treats! We had the best day.
